My name is Lucy and I am a Neurotic

My driving lesson this morning has been delayed so I decided to take Robert Winston's Big Personality Test on the BBC website, this table shows my results:

And this is what they mean.

Openess: 'People with scores like yours tend to have a fairly broad range of interests. You may be more sensitive to art than those scoring low on this measure.
You are likely to find it easy to come up with original solutions to problems. It has been suggested that Openness is related to a person's likelihood to hold unusual beliefs. People with low-to-medium Openness may therefore be less likely to believe in things like conspiracy theories' This is fairly accurate, I am super sceptical of everything.

Conscientiousness: 'Conscientiousness describes how dependable, organised and hard-working a person is likely to be. People with scores like yours tend to be extremely dependable and organised. It's likely that your life is well-planned and you approach things in a thorough manner. At work, you probably approach tasks methodically and thoroughly, with everything in its right place.' Although my workspace looks like a shit tip (it is a charity shop with heaps of shit donated daily) it really irriates me when people don't adher to a proper system of sorting ticketing, steaming and hang things before they've got tickets on and things like that, or when thy start throwing things in the bin before it's got a bin liner in and GRR I could go on. I am also very hardworking and care a lot about my job even though I hate it.

Extrovertism: 'People with scores like yours are likely to enjoy their time away from lots of people. Social activities may well leave you feeling drained rather than energised, and your quiet time is probably where you recharge your batteries. It may be a stereotype, but there is evidence that those scoring low in Extroversion are likely to be more suited to intellectual or studious pursuits.' Well this has to be true; shy, retiring intellectual who hates working in a shop because I have to talk to people all day and pretend to be normal and interested and sympathetic. Hence why, when I get in from work I shut myself in my room with my cat. Although I don't want to be this person it's all I can do in my current situation to mantain a feeling of sanity and control.

Agreeableness: Agreeableness measures how sympathetic and considerate a person is likely to be. People with scores like yours are less likely to be interested in what others are feeling and tend to put their own interests first. It's likely that you appear tough-minded and direct to other people. You probably have little aversion to stating your thoughts and feelings. This is how I like to think of myself, hahaha. In reality, that is quite accurate to what I'm really like and it is a side I let certain people see (like my boyfriend who calls me 'the witch' because of how uncaring and intolerant of others I can be) but actually I am fiercely protective and loving and loyal to those who deserve it, and I don't give a shit about those who don't, but you have to tow the line a bit and pretend to be interested in people sometimes.

Neuroticism:
In the context of the Big Five personality traits, the term 'Neuroticism' relates to a person’s response to threatening or stressful situations. People with scores like yours may find that they often feel tense or anxious, and may well experience changeable moods. There is evidence to suggest that Neuroticism, when combined with high scores in personality traits such as Conscientiousness, can result in a powerful work ethic and a will to succeed. Yeah so I am a drama queen who feels stressed, worried and nervous every day, but look, coupled with my conscientiousness I could be on to a good thing!
