purple haze
oh my days, you know when you see a picture and it's like an epiphany moment?
ta-da! I've been having too many of these lately. No, I am not the hot chick on the right, I am the 'vision' in purple (what the fuck with purple lately, JUST SAY NO) with mascara all beautifully dumped under my eyes and a nice bit of arm flab. So last week I hauled those lads up for weird outfits but here I must shame myself. So what did I learn?
1) False eyelashes, everyone is wearing them and I need to get up to speed. Everyone wears hair extensions too but frankly that is still just a bit too scary for me.
2) SLEEVES, motherfucking sleeves. I thought I'd promised myself this one too. Slapped wrist.
3) Black. It is slimming and I need to embrace this.
4) Hair - no set plan apart from dyeing it brown or red next week/couple weeks, whenever I can get an appointment.
I feel like I have purged my sins a bit there.

Thank you for acknowledging that black is slimming, why do you think i wear it all the time? I'm obese underneath
ReplyDeleteThe ugliest pic of me ever!! lol I look like Bruce Forsyth chinny chin chin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't usually wear extensions, they can be tacky (as this picture shows) but sometimes they look good. Tough one to call, which is why I opt for normal hair usually.. don't beat yourself up u looked lovely. and I agree with the Fifi lady, black rocks x
ReplyDeletehaha i totally know what you mean, i got fed up of horrible photos of me appearing on facebook and now black and sleeves has been my thing for a while now. you don't have flabby arms though its just the photo x
ReplyDeleteGeorgie, you never look bad in photos, how could you look bad stood next to me, I'm the best friend a girl can have; one that makes her always looks amazing by comparison. If you look like a chinny chin I am a spud face in comparison.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really think or care whether black was slimming, I just thought it was standard, a bit boring, bad if you have cats, and I associate it with the sort of outfit you get up and throw on to go to work in. I always found it hard to accessorise because I don't really go for accessorising so I'd end up putting a colourful bag with it and still looking blargh and corporate. Now I know this girl NEEDS it
