I saw this photo of my friend Ashley from Monday night and was all WOW
As you can see her hair is bright red but she looks really fit and not like a weirdo. I know crazy colour hair is in fashion but most people who aren't models or popular grunge celebs don't really rock it well. In Lula a couple of years ago they had this feature on crazy coloured hair, like pastel shades and extreme Zandra Rhodes vibe shit. I hear peach hair, which I imagine is usually produced by some botched attempt at dyeing hair blonde (ok not imagine, this did actually happen to me once) is going to be 'all the rage' or some other way of saying fashionable which doesnt make you sound like your mum. I dyed pink streaks in my hair when I was 16 and used to glue bits of turquoise hair in so for me bizzare coloured hair means my uncool greeby past, or chavvy dykey hairdressers; it's quite hard to fathom it as a terribly cool thing to do.
Thinking about it, I'd love to dye my hair Marge Simpson blue, that'd be rad.
