Perfect Friday night in alone. Glass of wine and a vegetable burrito, Belgian chocolates and a good film. I have just watched Empire Records for the first time and I can't believe it's taken me so many years to watch it. It is just my kind of movie, 90s, grungey style, great soundtrack, uplifting, highly quotable. It also gets my vote for best looking on screen couple in the shape of Liv Tyler's Corey and Johnny Witworth as AJ, what a couple of uber babes, she in her teeny toasty mohair jumper and he in is his deliciously sloppy oversized cardie. I also enjoyed the fact it starred: Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace) although as you can see his attempt at drumming acting is not very impressive; Rory Cochrane (CSI:Miami) and Max Caulfield (Grease 2, and er, Emmerdale).
