"hippie luxe"

I don't really follow fashion. I know that may seem strange considering I have a masters degree from LCF. While studying there I would have to comb the catwalk footage on style.com and try and form opinions and ideas about up and coming trends. Now I can be as pedestrian as I like come fashion week times, and so all I do is pop along to style.com and just view the designers I have a) heard of and b) know I tend to like. So that is what I have done. I am not intelligent or esoteric when it comes to my tastes, I'm a massive cliche and that is probably why I fell in love so hard with Luella when I first got into 'fashion' and not just 'clothes and shoes and handbags I like', in 2005. I don't mind admitting that I like 'commercial' collections. On a little browse today I am glad to see Roberto Cavalli and Emilio Pucci (well, Peter Dundas) have both churned out all that lovely dark, rock and roll/goth sort of 'hippie luxe' shit.

Pretty funny considering it is unseasonbly warm and sunny today. Am off to paint my nails mint green.
