Emily Hope came in to the agency on Friday and despite the sizzling heat she was wearing skinny black jeans and boots. BOOTS. I mean I was perishing in the heat like a melted pop ice, with swollen cankles and pregnant lady feet. Oh to be a beautiful, skinny, tattooed hipster. Anyway back to the boots, they gave me the green eyes but then later on that night I was playing 'what's your favourite thing on the page' with Kate and a copy of Look magazine and I saw New Look did quite a similar pair. I usually find New Look shoes really uncomfortable but still buy them anyway because I can't resist a bargain, what a false economy. So here's a pick of my faves.
The Emily Hope style ones are the bottom let hand corner £60 ones. They're actually really similar to a pair my friend Elle has so I probs wouldn't go there anyway because it would really belie the truth that I have absolutely no idea about style and fashion and just copy those who get it right. I also thought they were suede which would rock. They do them in black too. The wedge ones I threw in because they're like those ones that Florence of machine fame wore to glasto but her's were £99 from Clarks, altho I loooove Clarks and they are usually spot on comfy so perhaps beware the false economy on those.
