put on your Sunday best kids, we're going to Sears

As I always say, my favourite film while growing up was Wayne's World. My second favourite was The Brady Bunch Movie. I found it in Asda yesterday for £2 so I bought it and made my boyfriend watch it. Like Wayne's World, so much has influenced stuff I say and do now; I can't go out and get drunk without doing the groooovy thumb dance Marcia does when Davy Jones performs at the school dance. I love Jan in this film though, she is by far the best. Will have to track down the sequel now tho.

Of course there are some grooovy clothes in it too. I have a Marcia Brady style shirt which I like to wear with a purple pencil skirt but now I really want a load of flippy skirt and matching shirt combos. My friend Elle who has a kind of Marcia Brady vibe wore a flippy skirt and shirt to the preview of the new Whistles collection on Thursday so it seems this silhouette is a winner again. This film reminded me I have a fantastic little pale yellow 70s dress in the loft that will hopefully look great now that I have dark hair, so up I head to find that.
